| 1. | Project petition started 3/2005 |
| 2. | Project approved and budgeted $13.7m by L.A. County Board of Supervisors, 7/2006 |
| 3. | In 11/2009, L.A. County Community Development Commission (CDC) released the development plan |
| 4. | In early 2010, CDC formed the Rowland Heights Community Advisory Commission (CAC) for public inputs |
| 5. | CDC conducted a series of CAC meetings: 3/23, 4/29, 5/11, 6/22, 8/26, 9/15 and finally 11/9 to conclude the community-wide inputs |
| 6. | The Scope of the Rowland Heights Community Center Project has since been expanded since the CAC's meetings, and the project estimated cost has been revised to $18.2 millions. |
| 7. | On 3/2/2011, the final infusion of funding totaling $4.5 million was approved and transfered into CDC for the balance of funding needed to complete this project |
| 8. | Groundbreaking took place on 5/2/2013 |
| 9. | Project due to complete in Fall of 2014 |
